the latest trend continues... :) matching aprons!
I made these matching aprons for my cousin's recent wedding. I thought they were was kinda neat. I really like the interesting red floral fabric. The bride's went fairly smoothly since I've done the girly sassy apron a few times now, but the guy BBQ apron was a new thing. It was a very simple design, but my machine stopped cooperating so my plans for a cool stitch on the thick ties didn't pan out, but that's the way cookie crumbles. (Sorry Calen, that's what you get for my first try on the manpron.) I tucked a handful of family recipes in the pocket of the aprons, focusing on a few mexican dishes to go w/ the festive color scheme. Don't know if they'll use or like them, but they did get them & they do like cooking.
